L-band Matrix M0808D2UFL-B7B7-A: 8 Inputs x 8 Outputs Distributive with dual redundant power supplies and 75 Ω BNC connectors
ETL has a broad L-band Switch Matrix and L-band Router range for Satellite communications, including the hot-swap NiGMa L-band Matrix which is used for many high resilience high performance applications.
This smaller range of distributive L-band Matrix comes in a variety of size configurations which are generally linked to original design applications. The 2U 8x8 L-band Matrix and 3U 16x16 L-band Matrix are standard building blocks for most applications with dual redundant PSU's, a CPU and local control panel. Remote control is via serial or Ethernet.
More specialist is the 8x24 L-band Router is 4U and optimised for asymmetric dual antenna cruise ship matrices. Likewise the 8x16 (2U) and 4x8 (2U) and 1U SNG truck matrices are designed for specific applications.

Non-blocking: this means any input can be routed to any output.
In general our solid state (L-band) matrices are non-blocking.
Full Fan-out Matrix (or fully distributive or splitting matrix): any input can be routed to any output. One input can be routed to many outputs. Each output can only have one input. Tends to be more RX.
8 x 8 L-band Distributive Matrix With Local & Remote Control (via RJ45 Ethernet Port and RS232/422/485 Serial Port)
The ETL L-band distributive matrix is a high performance switch matrix (or router) with up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs, integrated power supplies and matrix controller in a 2U high shelf. This unit can be locally controlled via front panel push buttons and display or remotely via the rear panel serial and Ethernet port, including SNMP and Web Browser Interface.
The matrix incorporates a standard ETL controller which can be remotely controlled via either a PC (using ETL software) or integrated into an M & C system. Dual redundant integrated power supply modules provide security against the impact of unforeseen failure. In the event of total power failure, all matrix settings are retained.
The unit is supplied with 50 ohm BNC connectors, but a range of connector types and impedances are available (model numbers will vary). The unit can be supplied in a partially populated state but the units must be returned to base for later expansion or maintenance. Modular expansion is possible by linking the matrix to other slave units.
